Missionary Brains are so fun to have.. AND GLADYS KNIGHT IS THIS WEEK!!!!!

okay so this week was like half a lot of work and half no work lol!
so last monday was awesome! after pday we went tracting in the Mountain Ranch area and it was my turn to talk, so we go up to this door, knock...wait forever, ring the doorbell...wait forever, knock one last time and this guy answers and i said hey were the LDS missionaries and we wanted to go and offer service or a message about Jesus Christ! and he said oh i guess you can do service, so we were like cool we can help clean yard or if you need any help with your house or whatever you need, and he said oh, i thought when you said service you meant like praying or something! and we were like oh snap we can do that too! hahah so we were talking and gave him a Book of Mormon and told him what its about and we asked him to read a scripture and he couldn't see so he was like oh i cant see i need my glasses, so he could have easily just sai nah i dont want to read it but he was like wait let me try and find some glasses! he really wanted to read it! so then we asked if we can come back and teach him more and he said yes, just not on the day the football game is on! so we are going to see him tomorrow!

GLADYS KNIGHT IS ON THURSDAY! im so excited!!! but we have to be there super early and we wont leave until around 12 or 1 AM! thats crazy! so this concert/fireside is basically for non members or less actives, but members can only come if they bring one of the two...BUT there will be a stand by line for people who didnt get tickets and usually they ALWAYS get in, but how? we have to go in and kick out the members so the non members or less actives can come in! that's so jacked up! so im kind of nervous to kick people out haha! honestly im just glad i get to even go! only like 12 out of the whole mission missionaries get to go and for some reason they chose me to be one of those missionaries lol! basically what i do is greet and usher people to help them find a seat! i wont be able to take pictures or anything because Gladys wants it to be about the people and not her!

okay, quick concern i have right now. i just remembered it because im eating skittles right now, but i seriously can barely taste things when im eating! its so annoying because y'all know i like eating, but whats the point if i cant taste it! but im not trying to go to the Dr. so if anyone might know why let me know lol!

okay so there is a cute little Hispanic lady who is less active and we visit her all the time! but a couple days a go we found out a lot about her! its really sad actually. so we were talking about her husband and found out that she had been married twice and both weren't good situations. so her first husband was when they were living in mexico and i think he was abusive, but one day she got a call that her husband died. he was drunk and was walking home super late at night and he got in a fight and was stabbed to death. then she met someone who visited mexico a lot with his friends and they got married and moved to america. then he was super abusive and threatened and hurt her daughters and told them not to tell or he would kill their mom. so then one day he almost killed her at a really choppy river but the police randomly came. then one day they ran away from him when he was at work and he was super mad and started breaking things. but he never found them. and one day one of her friends called and said he had a heart attack and died. its so sad and she said shes glad both of them are dead. she is so nice ans sweet and she never deserved that! but when she ran away she found the Mormon missionaries and got baptized!

I LOVED conference! i wish we could have it everyday! but i was thinking that we didnt get to take the sacrament this Sunday and i was kind of bummed. i guess being a missionary and taking the sacrament like 3 times makes you appreciate it more. its crazy how easy it is to take the sacrament for granted. i realized that the sacrament is a blessing. to even have the opportunity to take the sacrament every week should make us feel so lucky that Heavenly Father loves us that much to let us start over and have a clean slate for that week. every week He lets us try again to be better. before my mission i never even really thought of Jesus Christ and his atonement when i took the sacrament. everything is just a blessing.

i dont know if yall can tell, but i sure can, that its crazy how i have changed and its only been 1 transfer! i dont know i just think differently and stuff now! i think of how i was before my mission and i just want to die! i just think how much i took for granted! and when you're on a mission you're on a spiritual high so you see things different! everyone i see i see that they are a child of God and they chose the right plan already and chose to come down to earth. They already chose God, now i just need to help them remember that! it was funny because when i was in someones house they had the tv on and there was a lady on the screen and i was like WOE! shes a child of God!! and it was soooo weird! and someone else was watching americas got talent, and tape face was on there and i was loke OMGGG i probably knew him in heaven!! idk missionary brians are super fun to have! my missionary brain thinks everyone is Elder or Sister, so when i think of my highschool teachers im like oh yeah Elder Feldman was my favorite math teacher! the stuggle.
oh last night we got transfer calls! im still comps with Sister Gasu and still in the same area! im glad she gets to 2nd hand train me! im so glad i only have one more transfer of training left! i hope im a trainer next! i dont know why but i love training people!
 i love and miss yal!
