Broken Sisters

Monday we stayed in because Sister Marbery is still dying.

Tuesday- We had interviews with President. We talked about Sister Marbery and he told me that if this goes on any longer she will have to go home ): because there is nothing they can do about it in the mission field. Sad!! 

Then we had a lesson with Kim, then a lesson with Tammy, then a lesson with Angela! they were pretty good! We were super out of it all last week, so i hope the lessons were good haha!

Wednesday- We did service at house of refuge. They had a HUGE truck full of packs of water and we had to unload the whole thing, it took like 3 hours. and then i got super dehydrated because it was super hot, and i wasn't allowed to help anymore lol

Thursday- at 2 am i started puking my guts out for the rest of the night. It was pretty miserable. We thought i was sick bc i was dehydrated from Wednesday. Sister Marbery couldn't really help bc she had a really bad migraine, so we were both dying haha! So in the morning we called the nurse and she told me i had the flu, but we didn't believe her for some reason and the Zone Leaders were like uhhh you need to go to urgent care and get an IV to put water in you. so we were like omgosh okay, so we went, and homeslice told me i have the flu, and its a 3 day flu. then some awkward stuff happened at the Dr. ....my mom or Jaymz knows, so if ya really want to know you can ask them!

Friday- Sister Marbery got a massage for her migraine.

Saturday- I watched Bible videos ALL DAY

Sunday- We get to church, and we walked passed the Cashes and someone says "have the missionaries do it!" so we were like huh? and Hudson turned to us and he was like i have a wiggly tooth! and he would NOT let his dad pull it out and I was like hey, before i was a missionary i used to help kids with their teeth, and i know how to pull teeth out! so he was like okay!! so right there in the middle of the chapel i pulled his tooth out haha! it was pretty funny! hes the cute little boy i sent a picture of like a month ago, and he was holding a chicken!

so that's our week! we are now called the broken sisters because there is something wrong with us ALL the time...literally one thing after the other (: And we haven't been able to go out and work for 2 weeks now! Boo!!

Migraines...no fun...

well guys, this week sucked. Last week on Sunday after skyping the fam, Sister Marbery had a really bad migraine, so we just chilled inside, then the next day came, and she still had a migraine, then the next day came...and she still had a migraine, and she literally had a migraine until Sunday... It was SO horrible. Friday was the worst. we all thought she was actually going to die. She was super weak and she couldn't even put her socks or nametag on. So on Saturday morning President wanted to see her, so we went to their house and talked to them. I think it was Friday morning ...we went to the Dr. and she got some meds and that didnt help her, then we went to weekly planning and she was SOOO out of it! like she said the basketball hoop was moving around...so the zone leaders were like uhhhh call Elder Ashton and tell him Sister Bischoff needs to drive. Then that night it was so bad that nurse Payne had to come to our house. So literally for 7 days we stayed inside ALL DAY and while she slept I made elder Vaupels trunky planner and watched Ephraim's Rescue like 6 or 7 times. lol

     Wednesday i wanted to get a blessing because i was stressed about stuff, so i asked elder Bassett, but they were taking forever to reply back, so i asked elder Pederson and he texted back in like .2 seconds, so i was trying to text back, but apparently i was taking too long to reply back, so he just called me and was like hey, we are on our way to dinner with one of our members and he asked if y'all wanted to come with us? and we were like uhhh yes??? because we didn't have a dinner appointment and they were going to Teriyaki Madness...so duhh yeah we'll go! But it was just awkward because it was us, Elders Pederson, Elder Purchase, and this old dude with a baby. Then I got my blessing and it was really good and i felt better!     so that was super weird...

     Also, more awkward stories. So on Tuesday Sis Marberys migraine was SUPER bad, so dinner cancelled and they dropped off a cafe rio gift card. So we were about to leave to go get some cafe rio, and we didnt change back into church clothes because we were like "oh cafe rio has a drive thru, we dont have to change"....we didnt even have our name tags on, and we looked like hobos...lol   so we get there and there's NO drive thru. and we didn't want to drive all the way back home and waste miles...so...we called elders basset and lind to see if they could get it for us...but they were out with their ward mission leader...so...we called the zone leaders and they were like uhhhhh yes? so we were like sweet, so we waited for them... as they drive closer to us we were like who the heck is in the back seat? and they get closer and its freaking AP Elder Mitchell!!! we were like omgosh...of course the day this happens, they are on exchanges with one of the ap's (assistant to the president)...wow. But he was pretty chill about it...and they take our order and get our food, and they got themselves food--of course a member bought their food for them, so they didnt even have to use the gift card...so they kept the gift card because we made them get us food haha!    yay for cafe freeo!   So now I bet all the AP's joke about us.

I hate eggs....

guys, im so sorry, but i have no idea what to write about..all my life has consisted of is Skyping the fam on Mothers Day and making elders planner covers. Ü

     Today we are going to get with the zone and watch those old hilarious church movies and play exploding kittens and play we didn't play test this. Also I'm probably going to my piano lesson!!  I tried so hard to keep it a secret that I learned how to play the piano, but I messed up and told everyone yesterday when we were skyping haha! (It's just so fun though!)

     We don't have a lot of people we are teaching right now, we have one lady, shes been investigating for like 15 years, and she investigated way too hard and now she just has a bunch of really hard questions. That's basically our lives right now! We are working on finding new people to teach!

     Sister Marbery and I are working on trying to be more motivated and stuff because we both are kind of in a weird funk..im probs just having a mid mission crisis and she hit her year mark, so that's weird...lol  so if anyone has advice for us that would be great! 

     Sorry this email is so short, i seriously have no idea what happened this week, besides the fact that i'm never eating eggs again.....lol  because some members gave us eggs, and both eggs i cracked open, there was blood and a baby chick inside. YUCK!!!

Welp...i got in trouble last week from multiple people for not writing a weekly letter, so i'll make up for it and write a good one this week haha!

     First of all, last night we got transfer calls, and we are both staying! YAY! Guys, i never thought in my life i would ever say i would want to stay in temple view...but im so glad im staying!

     So last Monday we had a zone Nerf war and it was SOOOO FUN! i have videos i think ill send to ya.

     The other day we took a photo shoot because i hit my 9 month mark and Sister Marbery hit her year mark...so why not a photo shoot? by the way...i don't know how to take pictures, so be prepared to see the most awkward human ever.

     

    On Wednesdays and Mondays we have dinner with the Higley zone leaders, and on Wednesday we had dinner with them in the ysa, and we had SO MUCH FOOD, and homegirl made huge bag of food for the elders to take home but they kept trying to give it to us, and we didnt want it because we were going to explode...so when we left Elder Peterson ran to our car and threw it in there, and before they could leave i put it on top of their car, and i was trying to run back to our car, but elder peterson is faster than me so he threw it back in our freaking car and they drove off...so we were driving and ended up behind them, so sister marbery was like GO GET THE FOOD AND PUT IT ON THEIR BIKE RACK! so i did lol... and also...side note...elder gressman and peterson both ate a tub of ice cream...EACH! it was SO gross haha!

     So there is this lady we have been meeting with. She has been investigating for like 15 years...shes so interested, but she doesnt believe the church is true, so every time we go to talk to her she basically antis us..but in a nice way..but she told us if she really is missing out on temple marriage and being sealed to her family, she wants it...she just needs to know if its true...shes just SO confused. we are going to work with her and the spirit, because whenever we talk with her you cant feel it, and that wont help her at all... she wants to talk about the priesthood...she believes that its not necessary anymore! But if we don't have the priesthood, we cant do things like baptism...because if you dont baptize with the priesthood (through God) you're baptizing through man...and man has no power to do that unless from God! we have a lesson with her on Tuesday..so pray for us and her!

     We finally met Buffalo Bill! he lives on buffalo lol.but we have been trying to meet him forever! he was outside and we talked to him! we taught about the restoration and the Book of Mormon! we invited him to church, and he said he wanted to go but he heard only Mormons were allowed to go, so we told him to come! hes super nice and he said he would talk to his wife about it!
