Another great week in Arizona

This week was super awesome! we met tons of super cool/crazy people! My fav is probably Chuck.

So we were trying to visit this part member family or something and we pulled up to their house, and i guess we all werent paying attention and knocked on their neighbors house. So this dude answered the door and literally within the first 30 seconds of talking to him he tells us that he had cancer and the dr told him he has 3 months to live. so we were like omgosh. He was soooo happy tho!! so we stood there for abt 25 min and he told us about his life this past 18 months! so he has cancer and it literally was ALL over his body, he showed us his x-rays. like ALL OVER. and then bc of the cancer one of his disks on his spine got super soft or something and he back was broken. then one day he went in for surgery and stuff and right before he said he saw an angel and he said he was going to be fine, and later on after a couple of weeks he went to get more x-rays and the cancer that was all over his body is completely gone. and he showed us pics and it was insane. so hers super happy and just wants to share this miracle with everyone! but yall should of heard the real story, like literally i was almost crying. But anyways hes figuring out why God still wants him here! and we found out that he knows the Jobes and we are going to invite him to a thing the Jobes are doing!

Then we met Buck. ohhhh Buck. he was out in his garage watching tv and fixing something, and he has this cool dragon thing and we always pass his house so we went over and asked him about his dragon thing and he make it out of paper!! is SO COOL! i took a pic of it but he asked not to put it on the internet lol! but anyway, i think he talked to us for 12 years. He has so much to say haha! but he was just telling us that hes seen miracles and that he can speak in tongues and he can move from one place to another...without moving..and a bunch of other stuff lol so we were like uhhhh we gots to go.... lol

We also went on exchanges this week..AGAIN. idk why im so against them...but i just am, so i was super salty, but im trying to be a decently pleasant person now, so we ended up having a good time because i wasn't being a brat! yay! anyways, life is so good and i want to be a missionary forever.
The last couple months have been just so weird, i think its because one of our investigators is kind of anti but wants to learn more and she always asks SUPER hard questions that freak me out and were kind of making me doubt and lose confidence as a missionary. So i was in kind of a funk thing, and it made me study a butt ton, but the other day one of my comps were struggling and she never had a blessing before because she didn't want to "bug" the elders about it so i was like omg, lets all get blessing so you don't feel awkward about it. So when i got my blessing he said that Heavenly Father knows what i have been going through the past couple months and he just started baring testimony of the restoration and how Joseph Smith was a prophet and the Book of Mormon is true, and that was super cool to me because i never tell the elders anything, so they had no clue i needed to hear that, and that proved to me that the priesthood is so real, and what we are teaching as missionaries is the truth. I don't think we as members of this church understand how lucky we are. I don't think we could even comprehend how lucky we are. I'm just so happy ALL the time, even when life sucks, im still happy, because I have the gospel in my life and i feel the blessings from it! So shout out for my Bomb parents who taught me this gospel and for my brothers who are a HUGE example to me!

RSG John...

So all of what i remember from this week is Saturday at RSG (Random Shirtless Guy) Johns house, because it traumatized me. So..... we met John last week and we offered service, then the next day he called us and wanted us to help him clean out a room so he can rent it out to someone. He also warned us that he has more than 50 cats and the smell would probably be pretty bad. So we were like oh crap, so we make our district leader elder vaupel and elder lind come with us bc we were sketched out. So Saturday we get there and we get out of the car and you could already smell the cats. At that moment we all knew this was going to be super bad. So he takes us this back way to this room off the house and we had to go through a flippin obstacle course of cats and random stuff to get there. And yall. i cant even explain this room to you. it was so gross hahah! it was super small and there was cat pee and poop EVERYWHERE, and cats were everywhere and spiders and spider webs were everywhere. and i almost passed out bc the smell was so bad and strong. Then RSG John gets some cleaning spray stuff and some rags and then he starts mixing different cleaning stuff together (which is pretty dang dangerous) and we just start spraying and cleaning everything, and all the chemicals in the air were KILLING us! like i swear it felt like we were hot-boxing or something. and all the cats in there were SOOOOO high hahaha omg it was SO funny! well it was actually sad, but the situation was funny. Then homeslice stars to dump bleach all over the floor and it started killing our eyes, and our brain cells, so we went outside to take a breather and cats were everywhere just surrounding us, it was pretty scary to be honest, bc they all look scary!! they are all super skinny and sickly looking! so then we go back in and hurry to help finish so we could leave. oh, and the worst part of it all...WE DIDN'T HAVE GLOVES. Im 1000% sure we all left with at least 1 disease. But yeah this is literally the only thing i can think of that happened this week!
*pics and videos next week!

2 baptism dates set!!

ya'lllll life is so good! I love this area and i LOVE my companions Sisters Ogawa and Ulziiduuren!! they are so crazy, so all 3 of us together is insane.

so we went on exchanges on Wednesday, idk why but i seriously hate exchanges...especially over night ones omg. But our STLs are in a trio too, so they are trying to go on ANOTHER exchange this transfer and i was like look y'all, i just cant, that's too much.. so hopefully that did it and we don't have to go on another one haha! but it was good, I went to San Tan and my comps stayed in our area. But on Wednesday night when we got back together we were so happy to be comps again! so i cant even imagine when we get transferred...so sad ):

So we had a lesson with Zeke on Friday and we taught him the plan of salvation and put him on date for September 2nd!! hes so ready!! we are super excited for him! Then on Saturday we met Alexandra, shes a self referral and she wants to be baptized so we put her on date for September 9th! but that might change bc her boyfriend might not be back till the end of September. But our zone goal for baptisms is 10 for this transfer, and we have like 7 on date all together!
All the elders want to see this really funny pic of sister Ogawa lookin like a G, but she said if we get 10 baptisms this month then they can see it hahaha! they are so excited so they are working super hard lol!!

We had zone conference on Thursday and holy crap it was SO GOOD! one of the best ones I've been to! It was all about the spirit and how we need to have and use it in our life! like y'all, seriously it was sooooo good!

so yesterday was awesome too! we had the Tucson temple dedication and it was awesome!!! President Uchtdorf spoke and i cried lol! my mission turned me into a crybaby!! but its okay, i just love Jesus and this gospel even more than i thought i could have, so maybe that's why i cry all the time with this kind of stuff now haha! This transfer has been a big changing process for me, its so weird! Like, idk i just LOVE testifying of God and Jesus and i LOVE studying and stuff like that! and i LOVE the temple! im so thankful we have one so close! if i could i would probs go everyday.

TRIO!!

So Wednesday was transfer day, but Sister Ogawa and i weren't getting transferred, so we stayed home, but at like 9:45 the APs called and said hey uh, sorry we forgot to tell you, but y'all are going to be in a trio this transfer and you need to be at the Lindsay and Huston building at 10. So we had to bust it out of the house to go meet our new comp! So now we have Sister Ulziiduuren! Shes from Mongolia. So its fun having a comp from Japan and Mongolia. Talk about language barrier tho! I totally understand what both of them are saying but its SO FUNNY when they are talking to each other. there's a ton and what? huh? wait what did you say? ohhh i think i get what you said? its so funny!! Im learning tons of Japanese and Mongolian! my fav Japanese thing to say is whatashino boko cho chisi. i wont tell you what it means tho
Nothing too crazy happened this week, but we were able to set up a bunch of appointments with people so that was good! Our YSA investigator Caleb texted us the other day and told us he want interested anymore, but he was super grateful for how we brought him closer to God! And honestly If i can help someone come closer to God and our Savior, then im happy! yeah its sad, because we know we have the restored gospel, and we want everyone to have it too, but im happy to help people!
So funny story...well, its actually not that funny, but we were in the San Pravada apartments and we were walking and we passed this guy and just introduced ourselves and told him if he ever needed anything just holler at us, and he was being super weird and we left, and then we saw this cute old lady Violeta, we met her once and we went to go talk to her and she was telling us abt how she grew up in Germany and she was SO cute and we were just chatting with her, and that same old man came over to us while we were talking to her and just started freaking out and was telling us to leave her alone and that hes going to call the apartment office on us ( so scary) and all this stuff, and i was like well you dont really need to do that because we were just talking to her about Germany and we were just out trying to be friendly and just trying to meet the people here, and then he started freaking out some more...and i don't really think Sister Ulziiduuren and Ogawa understood what was going on, so they just kept going and started preaching the gospel hahah!! and they were giving her a restoration pamphlet and a Book of Mormon and stuff and i was like omgosh this is sooo awkward haha! and the grumpy old man was getting SOOO MAD!! haha ahhh it was so funny! i didn't even know what to do in that situation, so i kinda just let whatever happen lol!
so that was basically this week haha!
