Miracles

This week was pretty dope, we saw a couple miracles and white wash training isn't as bad as I thought it would be!

     Tuesday was awesome because we got to start using smart phones! We had a big 6 hr zone conference about how to use them and how we are allowed to use facebook and stuff! we get to message anyone except family and talk about missionary stuff and the gospel, it's pretty awesome! I have been talking to Jim my recent convert in my greenie area, he's awesome lol  but basically I can like posts and stuff from my fam, just not talk with them.

     So I'm pretty sure it was Wednesday when we found our new investigator! So we got to dinner kinda early, so we decided to knock on some doors by their house, and we found Jess. She's SO funny! She might be 18, so she might be in the ysa which is sad because we would have to give her to the elders. But she said she is looking for a church and we gave her the Book of Mormon and she was totally into it and said she would read it and she said she wanted to have the lessons! Shes so sweet and her poor mom had surgery recently and it messed up her nerve system so if anyone touches her it hurts super bad ☹. But we are really excited to teach her!

     Oh another miracle...so I was sad there was no cafe "freeo" close in my new area, and we didn't have a dinner one night, so we were going to get panda, and a member gave us money to get some, then we got there and some random dude payed for us! So we got double payed for   🤙. The members here are homies. Seriously I feel soooo spoiled in this mission, because I never have to pay for anything. 

     

     Lately I have been SO thankful for the gospel. It's so awesome we know that Jesus Christ's true gospel is restored on the earth. Like literally it just makes sense.. Jesus came to earth and set up His church they way it's supposed to be, then when He was crucified and His apostles and the authority were also taken from the earth, simple truths were taken from His gospel and teachings by people who didn't have authority to add or take away to His church. That's why there are so many churches now. But obviously Jesus Christ's true church with the fullness of His gospel will be here for us..thats why we know it has been restored on this earth again by Christ, through Joseph Smith. Because of this we have amazing blessings and guidance in our lives, we shouldn't take that lightly! And through that restoration of this gospel, we have the Book of Mormon. A record of Gods children around the same time as the bible, but in the ancient Americas. If you don't read that book everyday, you should because it will bless the heck out of your life and your families lives.

Highland!!!

okay y'all. I literally cant explain this week, this is going to have to be one where i have to tell you in person, because its just too complicated.

     But basically, im whitewash training in highland (whitewashing means we are both new to the area so we have to meet everyone) and our zone is a party. We got zone callings and for some reason they gave me 2. So im the zone prelude music player or whatever you call that, and I'm in the picture taking squad (they make a slideshow I think at the end of each transfer). so basically all I do is play the piano before weekly planning and district meeting, and take a butt load of pictures. But I LOVE highland zone! Most of my homies are here.
This zone is HUGE..there's 18 of us, in temple view there were only 10 of us! and
I love this zone because all of us LOVE sports and we all actually take zone sports seriously! (Temple view sucked at zone sports) lol

     Going into a new zone is kinda hard because they have been with each other for I don't know how many transfers, and you always feel like you have to prove your worthiness to be in that zone because they are all already homies haha! but the morning after transfers we had zone sports and I crushed them in scatter ball so I think that did it lol! 

But anyways this zone is super fun and crazy!

     Highland East stake is freaking golden. everyone is awesome and super missionary minded! Sorry this email is super short but I don't have much time today haha!

TRANSFERS

yall omg the trio is splitting up! im SSOO sad!! But im getting transferred and i think Sisters Ogawa and Ulziiduuren are each getting new comps but staying in TV, so i guess they are making another sister area?? idk. But im pretty excited to see my new area on Wednesday!! This will probs be my last area because i have 4 transfers left!  

     im gonna be honest i cant even remember what happened this week...so this might be a rough email... all i remember is having dinner with this single old lady, who is my favorite human ever. i would go to her house everyday if i could. she is SO funny! she prayed over the food and blessed there was no poison in it because she cooked it ..I love people.

     So Alexandras boyfriend is back from Mississippi and they both were at church this Sunday so that was super exciting!

     Zeke is super awesome! we had a really cool lesson with him on the Book of Mormon and he was talking about wanting to serve a mission! i seriously almost died! we were super excited!!!

We went to the relief society pres of the Campo Verde wards house and did a painting class today! It was sooo fun!!!

Welp. Im super sorry this email sucks and doesn't have a lot of detail, hopefully our ratchet pics will make up for it??

Yall this week was so crazy.

So last Tuesday Elder Anderson came to our mission. An APOSTLE OF THE LORD. I was dying. and hes SO FUNNY!! But we learned about technology in the mission and about finding people to teach, it was super awesome! Then that day we found a new investigator! His name is Charles, hes a single dad and has a super cute little boy! Hes pretty interested! so we are excited about him!

Wednesday- we went on splits with 3 girls who are leaving on their missions soon! they were all so solid! It was so funny bc they were pretty scared to talk to random people or go tracting and stuff, and it just reminded me of myself in the beginning of my mission, and now i dont even care about being scared of people anymore. Its cool to see your progress as a missionary, and as a normal human haha.

Thursday- So we had a lesson with Linda. This lady is SO awesome! she just wants to get baptized SO BAD, but her husband is Muslim and doesnt really want her to, so its been a struggle ): but she is going to ask him soon, hes been super chill about things lately, so we will see!

Friday-  SISTER OGAWAS BIRTHDAY!!! home girl turned 23! such an old lady! Sister Ulzii and I secretly texted the fam that was feeding us that night and asked to get her a cake and stuff! It was super fun and she almost cried haha! shes so cute!

Sunday- Something traumatizing happened Sunday. i hit my 13 month mark, which means i only have 5 months left, which means i only have 4 transfers left, which basically means im already home..... Im so scared haha! But its exciting too because the fact that i even made it this far is a miracle lol. 

Monday- the WORST day ever because it was supposed to be pday, and we had to proselyte. It was too much for me to handle. And Ulzii and i were sick. Probs bc we wanted it to be pday lol, but we still went out and worked, it was just SUPER slow paced lol. 

Tuesday- The saddest day of my life omg. So we went over to a recent converts house bc we havent seen her in FOREVER, and she answered the door and just started crying, it was so sad. and she was pretty angry and was like what do yall want!? and we were super confused and we were trying to figure out what was going on, and it turns out that the guy she was living with that introduced her to the church is just super messed up. He basically just used her and took all her money and now she is losing her apartment ): Theres a ton more details but basically, it was the saddest thing and we were all crying. So the rest of our day was really weird because we just felt SO bad!

Today- we got to go to the temple! (thats why pday is today) it was SOOO good! Seriously the Gilbert temple is where its at! The pics i sent of the zone is from today after the temple (:
