IM TIRED!!!!

This week has been NON STOP.

Tuesday- all day Tuesday we were in a trio with Sister Kilsby because her comp went home that morning (sad day) and the whole day we said bye to all my fav people before i left...(apostate Tuesday) Sister Wright was super sad and she took us to soda rush lol. It was fun to get pics with everyone. Sister Chase cried and made me cry... it was a rough go the whole day, because its my greenie area! it was harder to leave my 7 month greenie area than leaving home! (sorry family). Its okay though..theres no change in the comfort zone and not comfort in the changing zone.

Wednesday- Transfer Day!!! i was SO nervous because this is a 7 week transfer and i didnt want to be with someone who i didnt get along with...so we get there and i swear its like seeing if you made the team or not...you get there and they put up papers on the wall and it has the zones and your picture next to your new comps picture.. and its super crowded and everyone is freaking out and it takes like 10 min to see the transfer board! i didnt even get to see it and Sister Marbery comes out of no where and freaks out bc we are companions! i was SUPER excited because we lived in the same room at the MTC so we were already homies!! the first thing she says to me is that we live alone and we have our own bathrooms! thats all i had to hear...this is going to be a great transfer. We cover 4 wards..3 family wards and 1 YSA ward...its so crazy... ysa feeds us Mondays and Wednesdays.. and we share the ysa with the zls from another zone..i think higly?? idk its random.. but we have to eat dinner with the elders when ysa feeds us and its super weird lol! we also had a baptism Saturday, we have one this Saturday, and the next Saturday after that! im so excited! i met them all and they are SO FUNNY! we had a lesson with Michelle wednesday and i think shes 20? 21? shes SO funny and apparently i did something funny..(i literally have no idea what i did) and now we are friends LOL...idk... She is getting baptized Saturday before Conference! Shes SO excited!

Thursday- we went to a part member family and it was so werid...the guys name was Fevzi haha! but he was talking to us the he started to hand feed his dog this nasty wet mushey dog food and it smelled SO BAD...we thought he was going to eat it bc he just randomly picked it up...im super glad he didnt eat it though. #blessings Then we had a lesson with Jayden and she got baptized on Saturday! Shes So cute! her parents wouldnt let her get baptized until she moved out! then she marries an lds kid and 3 months later shes baptized! i think shes 22?

Friday- we had weekly planning from 10 to 1, and it was fun to see what the new zone was like...its pretty interesting...thats all i have to say... then the mission had a choir concert for easter! so it was fun to see my homies up in D-Ridge. Then we had a lesson with Tammy...shes getting baptized in a couple weeks! she has a roomate..hes a little creepy...hes been less active, but now just starting back up again..but super awkward...he was there for the lesson and we were talking about temples and he decided to look up pics of the temple, but he got his laptop and hooked it up to the big tv and the screen popped up on the tv and he was google searching big a** and websites and pics popped up and it was SOOOOOOO AWKWARD! i was like yoooo dude what are you doing!? were talking about temples and eternal marriage here!

Saturday- we went to a kids superhero race thing and it was pretty fun! all we did though was pass out water lol.

Sunday-.......church from 7 to 5....its crazy...the ysa is lit tho! we stayed for the linger longer and we sat with some girls and one of them asked me if i was mixed and she was like yaaas join the club!! and there were like 4 other mixed girls sitting there...#squadddddd

life is great so far! im happy! Ü   heres a pic of Jaydens baptism! i look ratchet. And pics of my goodbyes to some of my favorite people in Desert Ridge.

MINIS!

This week was SO much fun! We have been SO BUSY! We have been working with Jim, helping him understand the Book of Mormon better, and he is probably one of my favorite humans EVER. hes hilarious. And sassy.

Brother Buchholzer is awesome and has been helping us with Kenny and Heidi. We finished all the lessons with them so we have been reading the Book of Mormon with them too! They are SO awesome and Kenny should be getting baptized in April!

So this week Sister Sperry and I have been working SO hard because we need and want more people to teach! So we literally have been talking to EVERYONE! Like, its just been crazy! And we have seen some miracles from working extra hard...We have been so tired haha! Its been physically, mentally, and spiritually draining. But its been Awesome! Its cool to share the gospel with everyone...its just your life, you dont have to worry about anything else...

So Thursday we were out biking and we just got done talking to this family who was talking FOREVER, and i saw we had a missed call from the APs and i was like DUDE YES!!! WE'RE GETTING OUR CAR BACK! because why the heck else would the APs call us? so we called them back and they were like "so we need yall to take some mini missionaries tomorrow, so find a ride" we were like uhhh okay.. So Friday we met at the Lindsay and Elliot building and met our minis! They are So awesome and we had SO much fun with them! and it was cool because we got to do splits and do double the work and go in different areas! So they stayed with us Friday and Saturday and Sunday< and Sunday night we had a fireside for them and we all got to bare our testimonies and one of our minis was crying the whole time and she said she knew for sure she was going on a mission now! shes so awesome!

Then Sunday night we got transfer calls and im being transferred ): im so sad to leave my greenie area! 7 months of getting close to all the members and random homies! ughhhh so sad! Ill take pics with all my favorite people today and tomorrow before i leave so yall can see them! Im scared because i know i might try and compare areas and be sad my new area wont be as fun as desert ridge! Its kind of like watching your fav Netflix show forever and when its actually over you have to find a new show, and nothing can compare and your life just sucks..but hopefully i wont let that happen hahah!

Sometimes I'm savage

okay, seriously, this week was so crazy! I dont even know where to start haha!
So we have been teaching Richard (the one who just got out of jail) and we had a member come with us...we were going to teach the plan of salvation, but literally, we got maybe two sentences out, and this member just went off..i have no idea what he was talking about...i actually zoned out most of that lesson..i think he was talking about ancient pictures in a cave that proved Jesus came to the Americas? and a church that has the restoration in the carpet? dude i dont even know.. and then he was kind of over stepping the line and saying things you probably shouldn't say to someone who just got out of jail... So this was going on for like an hour and a half, i was just so done, we didnt teach the plan of salvation at all, so i pulled out the phone and i looked at it pretending there was a text from the zone leaders, and i was like "Oh crap! the zone leaders said they need us ASAP! we gotta go!" lol savage, but it worked! we finally got to leave!
So on saturday, we were doing what we normally do and pass out progress records to the bisops and ward mission leaders, and we were biking down Meridian and we see this dude, so we went up to talk to him and he just started slurring and i was like welp, hes drunk. so then he was like "yeahhhhhhh im intoxicated, i had a 12 pack and my wife kicked me out of the car and my phone is dead, can you charge my phone?" we were like uhh we dont have a phone charger. we kind of felt bad because it was SO hot outside, we had no idea how long hes been outside for, so we were trying to find a place to get him water and let him charge his phone, and i remember we have our next door neighbor who is a cop...they are super nice and are members so it was good. so we took him over there because we had no idea what to do with him... he kept telling us he was laying in a field for a long time and just praying for a miracle that someone would help him and then he found us, but anyways, we took him to the Levitt's house and and brother levitt said he could call some police officers to help him out...and Brian was like oh crap, im goin to jail..i have a warrant down in utah...hes from salt lake and was baptized 3 years ago..and he was speaking Navajo... anyways...before he left he asked for our number and asked if we could visit him in jail...we were like uhhh sorry, cant do that, but have a good time.
So, a couple nights ago we met with this kid Casey... it was super awkward because we had to do it at the church and it was dark outside, and we didnt have a fellowship, so thats even more awk...just the 3 of us...but his whole family is against religion so we couldn't go to his house... But he had SO many questions, and we got to answer most of them, and then we taught the whole restoration. after all that, we asked how he felt about it or what he was thinking, and he said..."honestly i just came here because i had nothing else to do, i dont really want religion and its not for me, but thanks for answering all my questions." we bore our guts out of testimony to him for an hour and a half, and thats what we get...oh well...basic mission life haha!

Baptism postponed ):

So. We taught this guy we met that just got out of jail. Our Bishop and other peeps were trippin. But we taught him anyway. I was kind of creeped out, just because I've heard a lot about him and his past, but sister Sperry had no clue so she was fine haha! We obviously have a priesthood holder come with us so it's not as sketchy. But Bishop wants us to wait to teach him to see how he deals with freedom....we already have an appointment scheduled this week..oops...i guess we can cancel. I asked him why he wants to be baptized, and he said while he was in jail he was watching a football game and he told God if this team wins he will get baptized...idk...sketch or nah? lol

Literally, the elders just ran in here with lite sabers and started attacking us and hitting us with them haha. i'm so confused lol...Elders.....

Sister Sperry finally got to meet Jim! we had a lesson planned, but we haven't talked in forever so we just told stories and just laughed most of the time! i felt bad but not really. Guys, the weirdest things happen to Jim...he was telling us about how hes FINALLY starting to date again, and he met some lady online..and he went out with her and found out she's actually a man. so now he's traumatized and won't date..ughhhh. if yall know any 60 year old single ladies hmu. He's just so sweet!  But anyways. we finally started the lesson and realized he needs help reading the Book of Mormon, so we just read with him and it was so fun! so now every week we are going to read with him!

Kennys baptism is being postponed...  its all good tho, his family actually wants to come, and that's big because they didn't even come to his wedding because Heidi is Mormon. So it's pretty awesome they are coming! I'm excited to meet them!

Today was super fun! Florence challenged us to ultimate football, so we went this morning, then the zone went to Top Golf! it was pretty funny. I've heard it be called the great and spacious building..now i know why lol. Then we went to the mall...ugh we shouldn't have gone bc...i like buying things. Anyways...that was my week!
